Eppleworth Adult Centre was established in 1994 by a group of parents of adults living with developmental disabilities. Over the past three decades, Eppleworth has grown into a vibrant program and nurturing community.
Many adults living with development disabilities have few opportunities to participate in meaningful activities that reflect their needs and abilities. Eppleworth Adult Centre recognizes that these adults have gifts, talents and capacities that are often overlooked by the wider community. Our purpose is to provide a meaningful day program that fosters social connection and encourages independence. Our staff are highly trained and skilled development service workers who design activities that range from literacy and math skills, physical fitness and life skills to drama and music, arts and crafts, and community events.
The Centre is located in Scarborough, Ontario. We operate year-round, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
